Here

In the quiet moment before the dawn,
a tender kiss, so soft, so drawn,
like the first light stretching across the sky,
whispered promises as time drifts by.

We’ve found a place, just me and you,
where walls come down, where hearts are true,
and in those talks, both deep and bright,
we see each other in a gentler light.

Long walks together by the water’s side,
catching glimpses, my heart open wide—
as you stop to smell the flowers there,
a moment so simple, yet beyond compare.

Plans made lightly, just a dream or two,
of hikes and bikes, and skies so blue.
Holding hands on winding trails,
and laughing under moonlit veils.

Talking on the phone, or by text for hours,
sharing stories beneath starlit showers.
You’re easy to talk to, and I could stay,
lost in words for hours a day.

Each adventure waits, yet here we stand—
the future close, yet unplanned.
In every step, we find our way,
not rushing past what’s here today.
Taking each moment one at a time.
