Cold, crisp, air, The wind dances through the trees, Leaves chatter, some fall, Crisp beneath one’s feet, Bright skies, filled with light, Colors rich in hue, A contrast from the warm summer nights, A change in seasons, Brings delight, As it’s almost time, To usher in a warm winter’s night. Snuggled in, blankets in tow, Perhaps a long gaze, Into the fires light. Dancing flames, burn bright, Crackles away, Ember’s glow, Long into the chilly night, So many, Creating delight. Embrace for change, It’s all around, Take a moment and enjoy, Natures sounds. Soon spring will be waiting. Until then, I suggest we all live, And dance at least once in the rain, Laugh and giggle, Run and play, Fill your heart, With the gift From Mother Nature.
